After creating my spiral joint puppet one modification I thought could be a good idea to incorporate within the final design, is the inclusion of a retractable back leg made up of more that just one part and a foot shape. This is so that I could use the same puppet and animate the motion of standing to sitting rather than having to use different puppets and camera cuts, etc.

However, after talking to Mary it would seem that doing something like this might be too much of a challenge and simply a waste of time. As the option of multiple puppets and camera cuts would actually save you much more time in the long run and work just as well, if not better. So for these reasons I decided to move forward with the idea of multiple puppets rather than trying to create one that can work for every scene of the animation.
